April 22nd is Earth Day. This year will be Earth Day’s 40th anniversary! I’ve always been a tree hugger at heart. I used to write “SAVE THE EARTH” on the road outside my house using sidewalk chalk. These days I do simple (and maybe even silly) things to be green. For example…
Nate and I are both good about not going out to get the latest and greatest things. If what we have works, then we save our money (and the earth’s resources). For example, our “entertainment center” is an end table that was a hand-me-down from Nate’s sister. Also, my laundry basket has had a busted handle for probably 5 years. It is kind of a pain, but I use it anyway. Another example would be that cracked drinking glass that I keep using since it doesn’t leak!
In honor of Earth Day, I am doing a give-away! One lucky reader will be the winner of one sheet of these awesome Earth Day themed stickers and one sheet of globe stickers! A second reader will win one sheet of the Earth Day stickers.
To enter leave a comment sharing one simple green thing that you do. The winner will be drawn on April 15th so that I can get your stickers to you before Earth Day!
