Three Cheers for Christmas Giveaway Week!
Are you ready for another awesome giveaway? This one is a special giveaway just for the ladies! Whoo-hoo!
Day Three – BlossomCup.com
What is a Blossom Cup? This is how the Blossom Cup company describes the menstrual cup:
“The Blossom menstrual cup is a healthy and conscious alternative to pads and tampons. Blossom Cup is a reusable silicone cup that collects your menstrual blood. Inserted like a tampon, Blossom Cup sits comfortably in your vagina and can be safely worn for up to 12 consecutive hours.
Engineered for perfection, Blossom was developed to be the most comfortable and functional cup on the market offering an irritation-free experience while guaranteeing complete protection. When positioned correctly, you will not feel any sensation from the cup or the stem.
Blossom Menstrual Cup will transform your period and is ideal for menstruating women of all ages, body shapes and experience level and comes in two sizes: small and large.“
I have been wanting to try a menstrual cup for over 12 years. I first heard about them when I was living in Guatemala. A missionary serving in an extremely remote village told me about menstrual cups.
I was instantly convinced that this was something I had to try, but I never took the plunge until Blossom Cup sent me one.
When I gave my Blossom Cup a test drive for the first time, I was genuinely surprised at how easily it went in. However, I wasn’t sure I had it placed correctly because I could feel the cup. It is suppose to be like a tampon. If it is in correctly, I shouldn’t feel it.
Honestly, I didn’t have enough time to fully test the cup. I feel like it is something that has a little bit of a learning curve, and I’ll need to work up to being confident enough to use a menstrual cup full time.
I am 100% on board with the concept of a menstrual cup. They save money. They are good for the environment. They are free of questionable chemicals that are often in conventional tampons and pads. I just need to practice the mechanics of the Blossom Cup more and I fully intend to do that.
The makers of Blossom Cup are truly passionate about their mission. This is what they had to say about the company:
“Collectively, women across the globe are making strides toward a better way of being and a better way of living. We designed the Blossom Cup for the active, caring, and modern woman – empowering her to make better choices, for a better quality of life.
As a company we make choices to ensure that our products are made with minimal waste and impact on the environment. We believe that all women should have access to an affordable, high quality menstrual cup. We are committed to keeping our retail prices low while maintaining the highest quality possible.
At Blossom Cup we want to spread awareness on the benefits and the impact of using reusable menstrual products, inspiring women to improve their periods while loving and respecting our planet.“
