Freezer Friendly: Zuppa Toscana Soup

This savory, zuppa toscana soup is a knock off of the popular soup served at Olive Garden. The recipe makes a large amount, which makes it perfect for freezing. Enjoy the zuppa toscana soup with some italian bread, and freeze your leftovers for another day. Chocolate Cherry Cake with Chocolate Fudge Glaze

This post was originally published on January 25, 2010 and contains affiliate links. My mother’s chocolate cherry cake recipe is one of the easiest (and yet most impressive!) desserts I have ever made. Whenever I make this cake, everyone gives it rave reviews. The base is a box cake mix. Forget making a cake from scratch ever again! Go to the store and pick out the most sinfully chocolate cake mix they have, and you are already halfway there to having a luxurious dessert. Chocolate Cherry Cake with Chocolate Fudge Glaze Cake: 1 chocolate fudge cake mix 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling 1 tsp almond extract 2 eggs … [Read more...]

The debate is finally over! This post contains affiliate links. Wait a second. Where am I getting these recipes? There are many options out there for strawberry jam recipes, but I always use the recipe from the Sure Jell brand of pectin. Pectin is the powder used to thicken the jam. Inside the box you will find directions for … [Read more...]

10 Different Meal Planning Methods

I have been married for over 10 years, but I am still trying to figure out how to manage my home, children, and work. It is amazing how there are so many different ways to do everything. I've settled into a meal planning method that works well for me, but it certainly isn't the only way to meal plan. Before we dig into different meal planning methods, let's get some of the basic questions out of the way. What is meal planning?
