I’m excited to be participating in the Dreaming of a Green Christmas Giveaway Bash this week along with several other green bloggers.  We’ll be giving you the opportunity to win green Christmas gifts for your family, friends, or yourself!  Be sure to check out the other great giveaways at the end of this post.
Today’s giveaway is sponsored by Ten Thousand Villages.  I love Ten Thousand Villages.  I really, really do.  They sell high quality products that are unique and look amazing.  I own many things from Ten Thousand Villages.  I’ve often said that I wish my whole house would look like a Ten Thousand Villages store!
Even more impressive than the products, is the mission of store. Â Ten Thousand Villages is a fair trade organization. Â That means that the products are made by individuals who are being paid a fair price. Â In a world filled with sweat shops, trying to make products as cheap as possible, this is huge step in the right direction. Â When you buy something from Ten Thousand Villages, you can feel good knowing that you are making a positive financial impact on a real person.
Being fair trade isn’t the only “green” aspect of Ten Thousand Villages.  They also use recycled and natural materials in many of their products.  Check out their green gift suggestions for a glimpse of what they have to offer.
I am thrilled with the Java Sunset Rayon scarf they sent me. Â It is light weight enough to wear even in the summer time, the fabric is beautiful, and the length is great for experimenting with different ways to wear the scarf. Â Here are a few ways that I came up with:
 Â
 Â
Investing in a great scarf is a fun, frugal way to add some excitement to your wardrobe!

1. Green & Blue Viscose Scarf  2. Recycled Silk Scarf  3. Aqua Open Weave Scarf
4. Java Sunset Rayon Scarf 5. Paisley Perfect Viscose Scarf 6. Waterfall Painted Scarf
