Happy Birthday, Swagbucks!
I have talked the ear off of anyone that would listen to me talk about the wonders of Swagbucks.com. So to everyone who already knows what this is and has been dragging their feet to join: NOW IS THE TIME! Swagbucks is celebrating their “birthday” on February 25, 2010 (this Thursday). You’ll want to join before then so you can participate in the celebration. Swagbucks will be giving out “Mega Bucks” all day, updating their homepage, announcing new ways to earn bucks and there is going to be some big birthday surprise. Click here to sign up with Swagbucks.
Now for those who have never heard of Swagbucks…
Swagbucks.com is a free search engine that is powered by Google and Ask.com. You get great search results with the opportunity to win points. They call these points swag bucks. You don’t win them every time you search, but I certainly have been wining at LEAST once a day. (You can earn points faster by having friends sign up using your referral link. You’ll earn 1 point for every point your friends earn, up to 1,000 points per friend.)
After you get a nice stash of swagbuck points you can cash them in for prizes. They have all kinds of stuff. I am most excited about their gift card selection (Starbucks, Amazon, Target, iTunes, Barnes & Noble and many more!), but they also have things like video games, books, t-shirts, baseball cards, electronics, and so much more. You can cash your points in early and get a $5 Amazon.com gift card for just 450 swag bucks or you can save them up and get an iPod Touch for 22,999! Right now I have 4,420 swagbucks. I’ll probably get more gift cards with my points.
I have been using Swagbuck.com for about a year and half now. During that time I used most of my points for Target.com gift cards. So far I have received $180 in Target gift cards. I used that money to buy maternity clothes and nursing tank tops. My sister has used her points for Amazon.com giftcards the she uses to help with the cost of Christmas and birthday gifts. People always say that you can’t get something for nothing, but with Swagbucks you really can!
Go. Sign up. Search. Be Merry! And do it before Feb. 25th to be part of the birthday celebration!
