Happy Family Baby Food {giveaway}

*** This giveaway is now closed. ***

I am picky when it comes to what I feed my babies.  I love making my own baby food, but I also appreciate the convenience of store bought baby food.  When I do make that special exception to use store bought food, I want to make sure that it is the best stuff I can buy.  I always buy organic.

Noah is going to turn one this month.  (Yikes!)  I made 99% of his baby food.  We also leaned more towards baby led weaning this time around.  A simple definition of baby led weaning is that you introduce table food fairly early and allow the baby to feed themselves.  If you are curious, you can read more about baby led weaning in this article from Live Renewed.

Happy Family

However, when I did use conventional store bought baby food it was Happy Family organic baby food.  I bought several of their pouches for our road trip home for Christmas.  I loved how easy they were to use.  Noah was able to suck the puree right out of the pouch!  His favorite flavor was apple & cherry.  My favorite was the broccoli, peas, and pear combo because it got some good green veggies in him!

When we first introduced Noah to finger foods, we used puffs and yogurt melts.  Honestly, I felt more comfortable starting with those instead of Cheerios.  The puffs and yogurt melts seem to dissolve faster that Cheerios.  Plus Noah loved them!

I don’t use rice cereal with my babies, but I do serve oatmeal.  One of my favorite breakfast dishes is “Apple Crisp Oatmeal.”  I mix Happy Family’s oatmeal baby cereal,  milk (breast or cow), applesauce, and a dash of cinnamon.  Both of my babies have loved it!

I have been using and loving Happy Family products for a long time.  That is why I jumped on the opportunity to share them with you in a giveaway.

Disclosure: One winner will be chosen by random & notified by email after this giveaway closes on April 19, 2013 at 11:59 PM EST.  Giveaway is open to the USA only.  Happy Family provided me with free product coupons, but I was clearly using Happy Family products long before hand.  All opinions are my own.  If you enjoy reading silly fine print like this then be sure to check out my full disclosure policy.

    I would love to have the melts and puffs for Chase… he will eat anything and gets very Grumpy(at six months old) when we eat and do not share! So this would be a quick easy fix for him:-)
