Insane Goals: March 2013 Update {link-up}

I wrote a crazy-long list of goals for this year.  Here is how I did last month on my Insane Goals.

March Accomplishments:

1. I did some major hosting this month.  I had a friend from high school stay with us for 3 nights along with her husband and 2 kids.  Plus I hosted Easter dinner for my sister and her family.  Speaking of Easter…

Noah as a Bunny

2. Nate and I have been rocking the at-home-date-nights.  One night we played board games and asked each other cliche thought provoking questions like… If you could go back in time and relive any part of your life again, which time period would you choose?  It sounds cheesy, but it was actually a lot of fun.

3. DOWNTON ABBEY!!!!  AHH!  So good.  So so so good.  We’ve been getting the DVDs from the library.  We just finished season two.  I am glad I listed this as one of my goals for the year.  It makes me feel like I’m being productive when I watch TV.  Ha!

4. I have sorted through my digital pictures and uploaded the keepers through July 2012. I am glad I’m making progress, but I am still so far behind.

5. I’ve been cleaning the house!

March Disappointments:

1. We bought Noah a new car seat, but it is missing some straps.  Totally not safe.  I need to take it back to the store and exchange it.  FYI: We aren’t using this strapless car seat!  He is still in his old one.

2. I had a couple more book writing sessions, but if I continue this pace it will take me 5 years.

3. Just scroll down at look at the list.  It is long.  Most things are still unfinished.  *insert slightly annoyed and discouraged face here*

  1. Your little bunny sure is cute! 🙂 Enjoyed reading over your goals. Whew! You’re making me think I should make up a list. I have one in my head but I find it almost depressing to actually “write” one because I know how little will probably get done. You’re inspiring me to take care of our old pictures though. It desperately needs to be done!

    1. DO IT!!! Blogging about my goals has been so motivation (most months). Even if you don’t blog about them, the satisfaction of being able to cross things off really feels great.

  2. He is TOO cute!!!!!!!!!! Your list of completed goals makes me want to sit in a corner! 🙁 Congratulations on completing so many of your goals !!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Thanks, Bonni. It is funny that you are so encouraging because I feel like I’ve barely done a thing! Haha!

      Maybe you should try blogging about your goals. It has really helped me!

  3. Congratulations on completing so many goals! This monthly link-up has been awesome for keeping us on track with our own goals, so I thank you very much for hosting it and keeping me motivated! 🙂
