I love to watch movies and one of my favorite genres is documentary films. Documentaries today are much more interesting than those old war films we used to watch in history class! People often ask me for documentary suggestions so from time to time I'll be posting mini reviews of some of my favorites. All of the documentaries that I'll be writing about can be found on Netflix. Check your local library for these titles also because I found many of them there as well as on Netflix. Life Lessons at the Car Shop
My car was due for an oil change, so Grace & I headed over to our local car shop to get fixed up. The waiting room isn't a very exciting place, but Grace couldn't have been happier. She was smiling constantly! Every time someone came in and paid any attention to her, she gave a big smile. She was smiling at me until she finally gave in to her tiredness and fell asleep in my arms. Honestly, she couldn't have been a better baby. We should hang out at the car shop more often! While we were waiting, a pervious employee of the shop came in and was chatting with the owner. The owner asked him if he knew me. The owner then went on to … [Read more...]

So this is what we are giving Grace this year... First of all we are giving Grace an ornament for the tree. Our tree is so small, that I honestly don't even know if it will fit! There are a lot of people who give ornaments as gifts every year, but we aren't planning on doing that. I just … [Read more...]

Welcome to Simply Rebekah
I have always enjoyed writing about my life. In high school I was extremely dedicated to OpenDiary.com and then moved onto blogging on MySpace.com. However, I haven't blogged for well over a year or two and I finally feel like it is time to get back to it. So, Welcome and thank you for taking and interest in my journey through life. I plan on writing about my life which will include: the ups and downs of being a stay-at-home-mom, updates on my beautiful daughter Grace, being frugal and striving to be a tree-hugger. I truly have a passion for passing along "must know" information. That might be a documentary that is worth watching, a … [Read more...]
