Your Green Resource {Easy Reupholstery Solution}
**Oops! I posted this a whole day early. For some reason I can’t keep my days straight this week. **
Howdy folks! As I am writing this I am enjoying the silence that comes with a house full of napping children. I am struggling to stop eating this amazing chocolate covered snack mix sitting next to me. And… my back hurts.
My baby boy is growing up so much that he BROKE ME!! Ok, I might not really be broken, but my back sure does hurt. I have been carrying him around in his car seat too much lately and my back is yelling at me now. He was probably too big to be carried in his car seat 4 months ago, but I hated to get him out in the cold weather.
How are you feeling today? And what are your thoughts on babies, car seats, cold weather, and broken backs? 🙂
Time for another week of green and natural ideas. What is “Your Green Resource”? It’s your chance to share all your green ideas, resources and solutions with ALL of our readers! That’s right, when you link up on any of our blogs, your idea will get shared with all of the readers at Simply Rebekah and at:
- Stacy at A Delightful Home
- Mindy at Creating Naturally
- Emily at Live Renewed
- Beth at Red and Honey
- Megan at Sorta Crunchy
Each week, the six hostesses will each choose a favorite post from the week’s links and pin it to our Your Green Resource Pinterest board!
The post I chose to pin last week was:
A Thrifty, Green, and Easy Reupholstery Solution from This Sorta Old Life
I have some old chairs that I would like to reupholster some day and this post gave me the hope that I might actually do it! Haha! Seriously though, this post has great step by step photos that are super helpful.
Now it’s your turn to share your green living posts with us! Link up your post (not your homepage), old or new, on any of the following topics:
* Real Food Recipes
* Repurposed Projects

I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve got to share this week.

Thanks so much for the shout-out Rebekah!
Two words for you my dear: baby sling. 😉 I never ever carried a car seat! It was too bulky, heavy and awkward. Pull the sling over your head, unbuckle baby, and slide him in. Zip your coat up as high as you can over him or toss a blanket over the top until you get in the store. I refused to kill my back and arms with car seats!
