A Day at the Farm

Nate’s grandparents have a dairy farm and last weekend I went a little camera crazy while we were visiting.

Most of the cows were out in the pasture. Â One noticed us on the other side of the fence and then they all came over to say hello.

“Come on, cows. Â Let’s dance!”

“Mommy, I’m teaching the cows how to dance!”

Sometimes the way that he looks at her makes my heart melt.

“I’m tired of the cows saying moo. Â They are suppose to say oink like a duck.” Â Silly, silly girl.

I can’t believe how much my baby has changed since this time last year. Â He has transformed into a little boy. Â Will someone please make time stand still for me?
We had a fairly short visit, but I left feeling so refreshed. Â It is amazing how a small taste of the country life can relax me. Â I didn’t grow up on a working farm, but it was still significantly different from the town home I live in now. Â I love so many things about my house, but I’ll always be a country girl at heart.
Does country life relax you or stress you out?

The older I get the more the country speaks relaxation to me. I live in the city and LOVE to get away and feel some open space around me, with trees and grass and water, please.
We just keep saving and saving in hopes of having our own family farm.
