Simply Rebekah is about easy money saving tips, taking baby steps towards natural living, parenthood, and simple ways I’m trying to make life a little bit easier.
The focus of Simply Rebekah is frugal, green, and life in between, but that covers a variety of topics. Here are just a few of the topics I write about regularly:
My goal is to educate, inspire, and entertain you while remaining relatable. I am not perfect, and I certainly don’t have all the answers. This is an intimidation free zone! I am all about celebrating baby steps. I look forward to walking this journey with you – one step at a time.
Hello!
My name is Rebekah Hoffer.
I used to bare my heart on the stage as an actress, but now I bare my heart here on this blog. I still have a flair for the dramatic, but thankfully my husband and three little ones appreciate that about me. I met Nate in college where I studied communications, video production, and theater. You can read all about our unique real life love story in the My Love Story series.
I am thrilled that I am able to stay home with Grace, Noah, and Isaac. I beg them every day to stay little, but those stinkers aren’t listening to me. My husband is the director of a non-profit organization.
Besides my family and my faith, I am passionate about really important things like Oreos, reality TV, napping, watching YouTube videos, and breastfeeding. Okay… I guess breastfeeding actually is pretty important. Those other things probably aren’t as important, but they help keep me sane.
My Book
In October 2014, I released my eBook Why Does My Breast Milk Taste Bad? One Mom’s Journey to Overcoming Excess Lipase Activity. This book was inspired by my personal experience and the hundreds of mothers who have stumbled across my blog as they have searched for answers for this rare breastfeeding problem.
My Podcast
In April 2015, I joined Meg Tietz as she launched her brand new podcast. I am honored to be a regular co-host on Sorta Awesome, which is a podcast dedicated to helping women become smart, strong, and social by exploring everything from the silly to the serious.
