A Day in the Life of… Emily!

I am so excited about the “A Day in the Life of…” photography project! Â The idea is simple. Â Take one picture every hour for one day. Â The result is an hour by hour snapshot of your day! Â On February 1, 2011 I’ll be hosting a link up for everyone to share their days.
This project isn’t just for bloggers! Â If you email me your photos I’ll post some for you. Â Here are some photographs from one lady that did just that.
Emily is the mom to one adorable little boy. Â She was able to stay home with him for months before returning to her job this is week. Â Lucky for me, Emily took her pictures just before her maternity leave ran out.
A Day in the Life of Emily – January 10, 2011
8:00 AM – My LAST nursing session with Liam. I wanted to capture it with a smile.

9:00 AM – Putting in a load of laundry. I love having our washer and dryer on the second floor. I fold the clothes on my bed and that forces me to put them away before I go to sleep that night.

10:00 AM – Taking a much needed shower since Liam was napping.

11:00 AM – Using my Swiffer Sweeper! I LOVE THIS. If you have hardwood floors, a dog who sheds, and a baby who crawls around all day, it is the perfect tool.

12:00 PM – Lunch time.

1:00 PM – A visit to the local library.

2:00 PM – Playing with Liam on his Tonka Truck. He loves it when I push him around the house.

3:00 PM – Clipping Sunday coupons while Liam naps.

4:00 PM – Standing by our newly-fixed fireplace. The repair man came and did 5 minutes of work and 20 minutes of talking. (Isn’t that always the way it is?)

5:00 PM – Chris is driving us out to run some errands.

6:00 PM – Eating Chinese at the Mall. Yes, I eat Chinese at the mall.

7:00 PM – Walking out of Babies R Us after spending $175 on nothing. How does that happen?

8:00 PM – Bath time.

9:00 PM – Curling up by the fireplace with Gage, our boxer. I fell asleep there.

Emily, thank you so much for sharing your day! Â My favorite pictures are of Liam in the tub and your Chinese food.
Don’t miss out on the fun! Â Get out your camera and start capturing your day. Â The link up is just days away on February 1, 2011.

So interesting!
Let me be the first to say, I also eat chinese at the mall :P!
I love it! Sweet baby Liam xo! I love that you eat Chinese at the mall… I haven’t done that in a while I love the competition between the two Chinese places 🙂 “would you like a sample??”
Ps. I love that Chris had his first blog debut!
Donna, sometimes I walk extra slow through the food court just so I get all the samples possible!
Yes, Chris was VERY excited that he made his debut on SimplyRebekah.com. hahaha.
