Time for the Pool
Yesterday I filled up a large bowl with water and set it on the deck for Grace. She had fun playing in the water and pouring it from one cup to another. After awhile Grace did this:
Do you think she is trying to tell me something?
Today I went to the store so she was able to do this:
Much better, don’t you think? 😉
Ahhh. I love summer.
Today was the first time that I didn’t use a swim diaper on Grace. Last year I started putting her “disposable” swim diapers in the laundry and that worked really well. After some encouragement from readers on Facebook, I decided to leave one off Grace today. Do you use swim diapers??
I can’t wait to come back from our vacation and hop in your pool… Ok, maybe I’ll just toss my kids in the pool. I may stick in my feet!
Oh I forgot to mention that YES we use swim diapers… I’m not about to chase around floaters in the pool. LOL – I thought you might appreciate the memories
In our own little pool, I don’t think it’s necessary to wear a swim diaper. I would put one on in a public pool {probably mandatory anyway}. Grace is so cute and I loved the idea of a bowl outside!
Love the little “poo”l – but the second one is def a better size Lol 🙂
So fun! I laughed when I scrolled down to see her sitting in a bowl! Not what I was expecting 🙂
I had to laugh when I saw her do it! That little stinker is just too cute. 🙂
We used them, but not the disposable type. We used the ones that are like training pants, with the super elastic at the legs & waist. They worked great and the YMCA here also requires those so we just always used them.
How cute! My mom got me some cloth swim diapers that are great for Scrunch. Buggy is in the middle of potty training and is pretty good about knowing when he needs to poo (and begging me to put a diaper on him so he can do so), so he usually just goes without.
