Welcome to Frugal Photo Friday! This month I am partnering with Crystal, from MoneySavingMom.com. Each Friday we are sharing pictures of simple ways that we save money. This week’s themes are food and fun.
I love to shop at discount grocery stores. I love it even more than using coupons. (Shhh! Don’t tell Crystal!) The soup pictured above was only $0.69 each.
I usually can’t find everything I need off my grocery list, but I make it a priority to visit the discount store first before going to my regular store. Some of my favorite things to get at the discount store are: cereal, cheese, frozen vegetables, and yogurt. I love buying yogurt for just $0.25 each!
I use gift cards to save on our fun and entertainment. Each Christmas I ask for gift cards for date nights, movie tickets, and more. Last Christmas we were given a membership to a children’s play center. Grace has loved going and it didn’t cost us a thing! I love, love, love these kinds of consumable gifts.
