Sweet & Simple Valentine’s Day Fun

Sweet & Simple Valentine's Day Fun!

I usually don’t do much for Valentine’s Day, but this year I want to try out some of these sweet and simple ideas.

Sip-Sip Hooray! It's Valentine's Day!

Grace has been invited to a Valentine’s lunch with friends from church.  She is going to hand out these silly straws.

“Sip Sip” Hooray!  It’s Valentine’s Day!!

I got this idea from Plucky Momo.  She has a free printable for these that you really should check out.  They are much cooler than my handmade ones, but I didn’t have any color ink to print her’s out.  She actually has two versions, one for Valentine’s Day and one for birthdays.  So cute!

I’m a sucker for cutesy gifts like this that are a play on words.  If you are too, then you’ll want to follow my Fun & Frugal Gifts Pinterest Board.

Valentine's Day Count Down Hearts

To celebrate my little girl, I am sharing with her one thing I love about her everyday in February until the 14th.  It is our own little count down to Valentine’s Day!  I cut out 14 hearts and wrote 1 thing on each heart that I love about her.  Everyday I am taping a new heart to the side of our fridge for Grace to find.

(I was inspired by this pin on Pinterest, but it doesn’t link to a website for me to give credit to.)

For supper on Valentine’s Day I am going to make homemade pizza with heart shaped pepperoni.  Seriously, how cute is this?!?!  For a sweet treat we are going to make Nutella No Bake Cookies.  YUM!

How do you like to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family?

  1. Love, love, love how you bless your little one with a sweet message telling her one thing you love about her each day.

    1. Thanks! I keep forgetting to add a new heart before she wakes up in the morning, but she doesn’t let me get away with it! 🙂 Grace has really enjoyed this simple count down.
