Our First Family Vacation
Nate and I were extremely blessed by a couple this past week when they let us stay at their beach house in Ocean City, NJ. This was our first family vacation and Grace’s very first time going to the beach.
We had a wonderful time, but there were some bumps along the road! For example, Nate and I are not beach people. Our first day we went to the beach we felt weighed down (mentally & physically) with all of the stuff we had to bring with us. Beach trips take a lot of stuff, but they take a TON of stuff when you have a baby. There was one moment on the beach when Grace was crying and Nate and I were definitely NOT having fun.
Thankfully, that was just one day. We found many other things to enjoy and even made more successful trips back to the beach. Enjoy some of our photos! (As with all photos on Simply Rebekah, hold your mouse over the picture to read the caption.)
I love the pictures!! The ones of you and her and Nate and her are adorable and definitely print-out quality! My favorite one should be blown up to at least 11×13 if not poster size and put on her wall–the one of her as a giant black man!! Love it!!!
